Enrol Singing
Lessons for Every Voice and Every Stage!
Join us and be supported by Crew’s caring, knowledgeable tutors who work with students across a range of abilities and give supportive, high-quality vocal coaching grounded in safe technique and performance practice.
Students reenrolling in singing lessons are given priority placement (and we request prompt reenrolment) as we have a long wait-list of people wanting a Singing Tutor. There are very limited places available with our wonderful team of Singing Tutors. Enrolments are subject to tutor availability - existing students will be prioritised.
Note: While we endeavour to minimise any disruptions to students and families, we reserve the right to adjust days, dates, times, venues, pricing and if need be Tutors.
Private lesson fees vary based on qualifications and experience of each tutor, and are guided by the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS). Price range: $30-$50 per 30-minute lesson.
Jaime, our Admin Manager, will be in contact to match your learning needs to one of our wonderful tutors.
Levies: All Private Singing students are required to pay the levies (non-refundable):
Singing concert video levy for 2026 (each student will have their song recorded) - $10 per individual item
Fees for accompaniment/backing track editing for eisteddfods, singing concert and any other performances. We aim to keep this as economical as we can for families. Accompaniment is significantly more expensive, however it is also a highly valuable skill development opportunity to work with the pianist in both singing rehearsal lesson and in performance.

About our Singing Tutor Team
Our singing tutors - Lisa Crosato, David Thomson, Shannae Shead, Cate Watchorn and Lucy McKenna bring a rich mix of experience to every lesson. Their backgrounds span from Lisa’s international education and professional performing career to extensive community and school musical theatre, strong music and music-theatre training, and many years of private vocal coaching of David, Shannae, Cate and Lucy. Together, they offer deep expertise across solo singing, ensemble work and musical theatre performance.
This means students are guided by knowledgeable, caring tutors who understand vocal development and technique — and who also appreciate the excitement (and occasional challenges!) that come with performing on stage.
Lisa is a highly experienced and formally qualified vocal tutor with an international performance career in musical theatre and opera. Lisa coaches advanced students, tertiary applicants and professional performers, specialising in healthy technique, audition preparation and elite-level vocal training.
David has extensive musical theatre performance experience, having won Tas Theatre Awards, and studied at the UTas’ Conservatorium of Music. He focuses on building strong technique, musicality and confident performance across a wide range of musical theatre repertoire.
Shannae is an experienced singing tutor and trained singer, with a strong background in school and community musical theatre. Shannae’s lessons are supportive and confidence-building, with a focus on healthy technique, song interpretation and developing young and teen voices.
Cate & Lucy are young adult vocal tutors with more than 10 years of singing training and performance experience in a dozen musical theatre productions, concerts and eisteddfods. They offer warm, engaging, practical lessons that help beginner and younger singers build confidence and enjoyment in singing.
