CREW TUTORS & MANAGEMENT TEAM
The Musical Theatre Crew is a musical theatre training school for talented young people aged 6-18 years who are passionate about musical theatre and a production company that presents entertaining family shows under the leadership of Leiz Moore and Allan Jeffrey.
Allan Jeffrey & Leiz Moore
Co-Principals, Producers & Directors
Allan and Leiz are award-winning theatre and vastly experienced producers and directors for Musical Theatre Crew and The Show Company with colleagues Petr Divis and Mark Wojcik. Most recently Allan and Leiz were awarded Best Direction for Into the Woods at the Tasmanian Theatre Awards 2023.
Allan has directed/produced many shows including: Mamma Mia! in 2020, Mary Poppins in 2018, Wicked 2017 (won Best Direction and Best Production in Community Musical Theatre, Tasmanian Theatre Awards), The Wizard of Oz, and Disney’s Beauty & the Beast. Eurobeat – almost Eurovision, Peter Pan, An Ideal Husband, La Cage aux Folles, I love you – you’re perfect – now change, Lady Windemere’s Fan and Cabaret. He has also performed onstage and in TV commercials, and enjoys playing in his rock band.
In addition to producing/directing, Leiz is an experienced theatre performer and choreographer, and a qualified trainer and assessor, and a dance teacher having trained through the National Dancing Association of Australasia. Her favourite roles have been Donna cover in Mamma Mia! (ShowCo), Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz (Jeffrey Moore Production), Port Arthur’s Summer Season of plays over 3 years and DVD, and the title role of Peter Pan in 2006 (Hobart Rep).

Jaime Mollineaux
Admin Manager, Guest Tutor, Crew Alumni, Professional Performer
Jaime is currently doing remote work for Crew while on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas performing in Cats: The Broadway Musical as Jennyanydots and Jellylorum understudy, with her home port in Miami. Jaime graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre in 2021. Since graduating, Jaime’s credits include Rizzo in Grease (QPAC & Queensland Conservatorium), Onstage Swing in Jersey Boys (Legend House International), Charlotte in Charlotte's Web (RAVA Productions), Cinderella in Into the Woods (The Show Company), Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (John X Presents) and was a member of the Vocal Ensemble in CHESS (Storeyboard Entertainment). Jaime is an alumni of the Musical Theatre Crew having been an 'original' member since we commenced in 2011. She appeared in all Crew shows until 'graduating', notably as the Witch in Into the Woods, Sarah Brown in Guys & Dolls and Erma in Anything Goes.
SNAPSHOT: Jaime is a dynamic leading lady and ensemble performer with a stunning voice, great moves and fantastic work ethic. She is also a hot choreographer, director, production manager - is there anything she can’t do?!
Alison Stanton-Cook
Lead Screen Acting Tutor, Intimacy Coordinator, Professional Actor
Ally is a graduate from Actors Centre Australia who specialises in Laban techniques for theatre and film, learning under the mentorship of renowned Laban teacher Adrian Barnes. Alison is in the process of becoming an Intimacy Coordinator for stage and screen, training with Theatrical Intimacy Education (NY) and was awarded a Mental Health First Aid course by Screen Well, in the aim of increasing mental wellbeing in actor training. Her training includes working with Lesly Kahn & Company and Les Chantery in Sydney and she has been a guest speaker in Miranda Harcourt's masterclass.
Ally recently wrote, produced and directed her first short film ROE (Running On Empty) which came third in the Very Short Film Festival and won the Ambassador's Award for best emerging talent. ROE was also selected to screen at CinefestOZ 2023, a finalist in the BOFA Film Festival and recently won the Woman Up! Film Festival. Alison has been placed in a mentorship with award winning actor and producer, Marta Dusseldorp.

Carla Di Domenico
Screen Acting Tutor, Crew Alumni, Professional Actor
Carla Di Domenico has been involved in the Performing Arts since 2012 when she began her first Theatre class, and has since trained in screen acting, musical theatre, singing and piano. Carla has been a part of MTCrew since 2016, receiving the Intermediate Scholarship in 2019, and graduating Senior Crew in 2022. She performed as Shrek in Shrek Jr, Uncle Fester in The Addams Family, Danielle in Bring It On, Éponine in Les Miserables, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes and Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia. Carla has participated in numerous City of Hobart Eisteddfods in both Singing and Drama and was awarded the ‘Barbara Warner Memorial Award’ in 2019. Additionally, she received the ‘Most Engaging Talent Award’ at the MyState Student Film Festival and was a School of Performing Arts Scholarship recipient at St Michael’s Collegiate School. In 2022, Carla landed a guest role on Deadloch, TV series airing on Amazon Prime Video. She studies voice with Jane Edwards.
Rebecca Oliver-Black
Senior Singing Tutor, Crew Alumni, Professional Performer
Beck graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre, with her final performance being the leading role of Lily in The Secret Garden. Other stage credits include: Kiss me Kate (Opera Queensland); Rhonda Burchmore on Broadway (QPAC); Heidi in [title of show]; Florinda in Into the Woods (The Show Company); The Queensland Tourism Awards; The Pepper Pig Show (Entertainment Store); Squeezebox Cabaret with The Moonlight Aviators; and Carols In the Park with The Derwent Valley Concert Band. Beck has been Dance Captain for several shows including The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and Rent (QLD Conservatorium); and also choreographed Legally Blonde, The Musical for Claremont College. Beck is also a qualified Speech Pathologist. She loves tutoring singing and aims to connect with each student individually to find their own unique spark! Her lessons focus on vocal technique, story-telling, character development, confidence and joy!
Lisa Crosato
Lead Singing Tutor (Classical and Musical Theatre), Senior Ensemble, Admin Officer, Professional Performer
Australian soprano, Lisa Crosato, first took to the professional stage when she was only seven in The King and I in the USA. Since then, she has trained in all facets of theatre, including singing, drama and dance. In 2008, she completed the Post-Graduate Opera Course at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Opera engagements have included: Countess Almaviva Le Nozze di Figaro for Mid Wales Opera; Tisbe La Cenerentola for Garsington Opera; Karolka Jenufa , Giovanetta L'amore dei tre Re (Montemezzi), and Countess Ceprano Rigoletto for Opera Holland Park; Countess Almaviva Le Nozze di Figaro, Lauretta Gianni Schicchi and Vénus Dardanus (Rameau) for RAM; Stéphano Roméo et Juliette for British Youth Opera; Good Fairy Wild Swans (Kats- Chernin) for the Australian Ballet and Mimi La Bohème for Minotaur Music Theatre. In addition to opera, Lisa was also a soloist in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber Beijing & Shanghai for the Really Useful Group and performed in the Ensemble in The Wizard of Oz for GFO Entertainment. Her television credits include guest solo appearances on the ABC, Seven and Ten Networks in Australia, and she appears internationally on CD and DVD.
Shannae Shead
Singing Tutor, Crew Alumni
Shannae was a member of Crew for eleven years and graduated from the Senior Ensemble in 2022. Her major roles in Crew productions include Wednesday in The Addams Family, Eva in Bring it On, Eponine in Les Miserables and Erma in Anything Goes. In 2018, she performed as Jane Banks in Mary Poppins with The Show Company. After having performed as Sophie in Rosny College’s Mamma Mia in 2021, Shannae then played the role of Sophie’s mother, Donna in the Crew Senior Ensemble’s Mamma Mia in 2022. Shannae has been a member of the Old Nick Summer School productions for two years, performing as an ensemble member in Guys and Dolls, and performing the role of Jan in Grease: the Musical. Shannae currently trains with renowned vocal teacher, Jane Edwards and has placed highly in various singing eisteddfods throughout the years. In the 2023 Hobart Eisteddfods, Shannae received the Errol Flynn Society of Tasmania Award “for the actor aged 18 years and under showing the most potential”. Shannae is also at university studying to become a primary school educator and holds a diploma of general studies, focusing on advanced music practical study. She hopes to bring her musical theatre experience to inspire young minds.
Holly Ward
Junior Singing Tutor, Assistant Tutor, Senior Ensemble Student
Holly has been involved in the performing arts from a young age, with a passion for singing, dancing and acting on stage and screen. She has performed in MTCrew’s Grease, Mamma Mia, and most recently played Elle Woods in the Senior Ensemble’s Legally Blonde. Holly has also been involved in productions with school and Old Nick Summer School, with memorable roles including Donna in Mamma Mia, Patty in Grease and Alice in The Addams Family. In 2022, Holly received the Most Improved Award for Crew and was awarded as Old Nick’s 2022/23 Rising Star. Holly was Assistant Stage Manager for The Little Mermaid Jr in 2022 and is excited to do more work behind the scenes this year. She studies voice with Jude Elliot and was recently elected as 2024 college Arts Captain at her school. Holly is excited to share her love for theatre with young people this year to create memorable and magical performances!
Hannah Gardner
Junior Singing Tutor, Crew Alumni
Hannah attended Crew for seven years before graduating in 2023. Her performance highlights with MTC include Vivienne in Legally Blonde, the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz Jr, Belle in Beauty and the Beast Jr and Moana in Moana Jr. She was the Senior Ensemble Scholarship awardee for 2023, and has received vocal training for many years.
Emilia Hawkey
Supported Learning Coach, Crew Alumni
An original member in 2011, Crew fostered Emilia’s love for musical theatre, with her favourite experiences including Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Mrs Potts in Beauty and the Beast Jr. (both Crew), ensemble in Mary Poppins (Show Company), and most recently, playing Beth March in Little Women (Little Productions). She has since studied Psychological Science at the University of Tasmania, and is now engaged in doctorate studies with a focus in language and children’s development. Emilia is excited to combine her love for young people, learning and musical theatre in a tutoring capacity here at the Musical Theatre Crew.
SNAPSHOT: Emilia is generous, kind, smart and has a heart of gold. She loves sharing her love of musical theatre and performing.
Mandy Lowrie
Senior Ensemble Choreographer, Performer
Mandy has performed in dozens of shows, including many principal roles such as Donna in Mamma Mia (2020) for The Show Company, Belle in Disney's Beauty & the Beast and Glinda in The Wizard of Oz both at the Theatre Royal for Allan and Leiz. For Crew, Mandy also performed the role of the 'baddy vixen' Velma von Tussle in Hairspray. Mandy has worked and performed for most theatre companies in Hobart, with some favourite roles being Erma in Anything Goes and Desiree in A Little Night Music for G&S. She an outstanding, award-winning choreographer, specialising in musical theatre and tap styles at Crew and Jenina's Dance Workshop. Mandy won a Tasmanian Theatre Award for Best Choreography for Crew’s production of Anything Goes and the STDE Champion Group for It’s a Musical.
SNAPSHOT: Mandy is beautiful outside and in, with a cheeky sense of humour, and can work her choreography magic with elite dancers or those with two left feet! ;)
Andrew Castles
Senior Ensemble Music Director
Andrew is a percussionist, conductor, and music educator. He holds a Bachelor of Music from the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music where he received the Frank Schuster Memorial Award for Excellence in Performance, as well as a Bachelor of Teaching from UTas. He works as a music teacher specialising in percussion and woodwind at five schools and colleges. He has performed extensively in Australia and overseas with a wide variety of ensembles such as the Australian Youth Orchestra and National Australia Brass, played principal percussion at the AYO’s National Music Camp and holds a casual position with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Andrew has performed in many musical theatre productions including Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, Jesus Christ Superstar, Mamma Mia.
David Thomson
Intermediate Ensemble Director & Vocal Director, Singing Tutor, Crew Alumni, Performer
David is one of the original Crew members and alumni, having been part of the school since its beginnings in 2011. He completed an Associate Degree in Arts (Music) at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music in 2020. David has been highly involved in Hobart theatre over the past 13 years, having appeared in over 40 musicals, with roles including Jean Valjean in Les Misérables (Musical Theatre Crew), Jeff in [title of show] (Old Nick), Enjolras in Les Misérables (Exitleft), William Barfeè in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (ShowCo). In 2023 he was awarded ‘Best Supporting Actor in a Musical’ for his role as Rapunzel’s Prince in Into The Woods at the Tasmanian Theatre Awards. Outside of MTCrew, David has directed three productions for The Old Nick Hobart Theatre Summer School; Guys and Dolls (2022), Grease (2023), and Shrek the Musical (2024)

Georgina Taskunas
Dance Tutor, Intermediate Ensemble Choreographer
Georgina has always had a passion for musical theatre, dancing many styles for 28 years at the Barbara Todd Ballet School and the House of Dance. Throughout the years she has competed at a state and national level for dance and completed all ballet exams through the Royal Academy of Dance. Some musical performance highlights include: We Will Rock You (John X Presents), the Cabaret Club's Man Inside the Clues, Twisted Broadway, Shane Warne The Musical and Halloween at Harlequin. Georgina has choreographed Grease, The Wiz, Beauty and the Beast, Matilda and The Addams Family for her alma mater, St Mary's College, and Frozen Jr for Musical Theatre Crew in 2023. Georgina holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, currently working as a credentialed eating disorder dietitian in private practice.
Haley Garrett
Junior Ensemble Tutor, Crew Alumni
Haley is a Crew alumni, having graduated in 2022 after completing 8 years at Crew. Her performance highlights include Ali in Mamma Mia, Moana in Moana Jr, Kelsi in High School Musical Jr and Glinda in The Wizard of Oz Jr. Haley studies voice with Rebecca Oliver-Black and has successfully completed AMEB exams and eisteddfods. She has also previously danced with Crew under Mia Grant and Louise Mackintosh. Haley is currently completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree whilst continuing to stay involved with the musical theatre scene.
Lexie Johnson
Onstage, Spotlight & Intermediate Tutor, Stage Manager, Crew Alumni
Lexie started with Musical Theatre Crew in 2016 and is currently in her graduating year in the Senior Ensemble. She has performed in children’s pantomimes for schools around Hobart and has competed and performed in acting and singing workshops in Melbourne and Sydney. Her performance highlights include Moana jr. (MTC), Mamma Mia (Rosny College), Guys & Dolls (Old Nick Theatre Company) and Newsies jr. (John X Presents). As well as being on stage, she has always loved learning how everything works behind the scenes; with Musical Theatre Crew, she has worked as Backstage Crew on Les Miserables (2021) and Disney’s The Lion King jr. (2021), as well as Assistant Stage Manager on Grease (2021) and more recently, Sound Operator for Into the Woods jr. and The Little Mermaid jr. in 2022.
Grace Jones
Assistant Tutor, Crew Alumni
Grace is 18 years old and recently graduated from Guilford Young College in 2023, before commencing a Bachelor of Primary Education with a Graduate certificate in Early Childhood at the University of Tasmania this year. Grace loves interacting with kids and watching them develop the same passion for theatre/dancing as her. From an early age, Grace has been heavily involved in dancing at Encore Dance, where she developed her love of singing and dancing. Grace danced with Encore Dance for over ten years before auditioning for Musical Theatre Crew in 2020. She recently graduated from MTCrew after four years, with performance highlights including Paulette in Legally Blonde, Mamma Mia!, Anything Goes and Moana Jr.
Gabrielle Cayoun
Accompanist
Gabrielle Cayoun is a freelance pianist and piano tutor who works in a variety of styles, with focus on collaborative and ensemble work. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano from the UTAS Conservatorium of Music (2021) and is a twice recipient of the Royal Over-Seas League Piano Award. Gabby has been working with Musical Theatre Crew since age 15, with some of her earliest accompanying experience being for the Junior and Intermediate ensembles. She continues to work as repetiteur and pit musician for a number of musical theatre productions across Hobart, and has been involved in 20 productions over the past 7 years - most recently including Legally Blonde with Musical Theatre Crew's Senior Ensemble. Gabby also currently performs with the MONA Music Cluster Ensemble and accompanies for the UTAS Conservatorium of Music, the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra and Youth Chorale, Rosny College, and Hobart College.
Madeleine Jeffrey-Moore
Administrative Assistant, Guest Tutor, Crew Alumni
Maddy is an original member of MTC and an MTC Scholarship awardee, with performance highlights being Fantine in Crew’s acclaimed Les Miserables, Vivienne in Legally Blonde, Wendy in Peter Pan, Jasmine in Aladdin jr. Performance highlights with other companies include Mary Poppins (ShowCo), The Wizard of Oz (Jeffrey-Moore) and Beauty & the Beast (Jeffrey-Moore) all at the Theatre Royal, Alice in Hamley Productions Alice’s Adventures Underground and co-hosting the Tasmanian Theatre Awards 2018. Maddy was awarded a performing arts scholarship at St Michael’s Collegiate, studies voice with Jane Edwards, has completed her AMEB Voice Grade 6, and toured to the USA to perform at the Junior Theatre Festival. Maddy is a passionate tutor and loves working with young people to create entertaining and memorable shows.

Helen Cronin
Costume, Properties & Wigs Specialist & Wardrobe Manager
Helen has 'grown up' in theatre with her family being heavily involved in music in Hobart and with the Playhouse Theatre since she was a very little girl. She has produced, directed and performed in many shows - plays, concerts and musicals. For Leiz and Allan, she was onstage in their co-production with G&S of Disney's Beauty & the Beast at the Theatre Royal, as well as creating magnificent props for their production of The Wizard of Oz. She is in high demand with many companies for her creative and artistic skills with props. She is also Secretary of the City of Hobart Eisteddfod Society. Helen really enjoys pulling together all the creative and technical elements of a show and making 'theatre magic'.
SNAPSHOT: Helen is a legend of the Hobart theatre scene, having performed with and/or worked behind the scenes with most companies. She also makes amazing props, signature costumes and has directed Pantos for Hobart Rep.
