SIX: Teen Edition – Auditions & Production Information

Auditions for SIX: Teen Edition will be held in two rounds.

While we invite performers to indicate role preferences, SIX is a true ensemble show.
All auditionees will be considered for all roles, and casting is based on the strongest overall fit for the production.

SIX is a contemporary pop-musical with demanding vocals, tight harmonies and strong ensemble work. All Queens require excellent pitch, stamina, rhythm and confidence singing solo and in harmony. Vocal ranges are a guide only. Casting will consider vocal colour, technique, storytelling, stage presence and ensemble balance — top notes, but not just top notes. All performers must be able to:

• Tell a story through vocals

• Work generously as part of a powerful ensemble

• Sing confidently, safely and with tight harmonies

• Hold an independent line while others sing contrasting parts

• Maintain pitch and rhythm while dancing

• Blend vocally while still maintaining individual tone

• Perform with stamina and consistency across the show
